Editorial overview
What it is
Agni: Queen of Darkness is an action game heavily inspired by the Divine Comedy written by Dante Alighieri. The player's character explores dark themed locations monsters need to be fought using hack-and-slash mechanics. Some of them will drop souls, required to improve the character's abilities, and/or objects needed to advance the game and story.
The premise
The game tells the story of Amanda who lives in an apartment with her daughter. One day, she vanishes, either kidnapped or murdered, which leads Amanda to commit suicide by jumping off the railway bridge. Seconds before the jump she is stopped by a train conductor who offers her an opportunity to enter Hell in order to save her daughter.
