Editorial overview
What it is
Arquimedes XXI is a classic conversational adventure video game released in 1986 by the Spanish company Dinamic, which combines elements of science fiction and exploration. It is considered a classic in the history of video games in Spain and is remembered for its quality and complexity. It was one of the first commercial adventures in the country and laid the foundations for future developments in the adventure game genre.
The premise
Year 2492... The ARCHIMEDES XXI science base has been producing the biological memories that equip the android army of the Black Galaxy of YANTZAR for seven years. They are spreading panic throughout the ALPHA 23 sector of the Gamma Universe, and it's about time someone put an end to ARCHIMEDES XXI.
You are not the first to try, as two years ago your friend and colleague SPOFYTUS was sent there, but never returned. This is understandable if you take into account that the whole Base is a complex labyrinth governed by the CPM2 computer and guarded by hundreds of different robots, humanoids that try to prevent you from finishing your mission.
