Creatures from the Astral Realm, known as Asters, now cross into the mortal world with increasing frequency. Once believed to be divine beings, humanity has learned a terrifying truth: not all Asters are benevolent.

Among them are the Daemons - corrupted Asters driven by ambition and chaos. Many believe they are responsible for the fracture between worlds, seeking to transform Earth into a new dominion where they no longer have to bow to the ancient authority of the Daevas, the benevolent guardians of the Astral Realm.
