Editorial overview
What it is
Best played with the lights turned off and the volume turned up, Black Sails is a creepy and mysterious point-and-click adventure game.
Two survivors of a shipwreck try to survive in the raging sea. Until another ship appears. Hoping for rescue, they are calling, but nobody answers. They manage to go on board. Will this be their rescue? Or their grave?
The premise
In a dark night, a ship sinks in a thunderstorm. Two survivors are lost in the endless space of the merciless ocean, when gradually they perceive a dark, mysterious sailing vessel slowly emerging from the mist. Is it abandoned? Soon after they decide to go aboard and they get the feeling that this might have been the biggest mistake of their lives… Inspired by a true story, the player experiences a journey to the deepest abyss of the human soul as she discovers the secrets of the ghost ship “Mary Celeste”, until finally she will not be able to distinguish the difference between reality and fiction anymore.
