Striving for those classic aesthetics, Boulder Boy certainly looks the part with beautiful retro sprite art and pulsing NES-style synths."
The premise
"Long ago, in the early 1990s, there lived an ordinary boy in an ordinary town. Through extraordinary means, the boy’s slothful pet, Candy the Pug, gains twisted magical powers that also twist her mind. Without warning, our ordinary boy finds his family pet has turned him into sedentary sediment: a BOULDER! With unrelenting determination, Boulder Boy rolls ahead—dead-set to unwind his rocky curse and defeat his once-beloved family pet."
