Editorial overview
What it is
Citadel is a gunship sandbox MMO set inside a huge machine world at war.
Players take ships into short missions to fight, mine, haul cargo, salvage wrecks, protect convoys, or raid other players. Every mission affects the same shared world.
Ships, weapons, and goods are built and traded by players. When cargo reaches its destination, supplies grow. When a ship is destroyed, it is permanently lost. When a faction wins ground, new routes and missions can open while others close.
The mission ends, but its results do not reset. Every delivery, loss, battle, and captured objective changes prices, supplies, faction strength, and what happens next.
Citadel gives you short, focused missions inside a permanent player run sandbox.
The premise
Humanity survives within an ancient, self-expanding megastructure divided by civil war, lost technology, and hostile systems. Captains prepare gunships, enter dangerous Breaches, and try to return with their vessels and cargo intact while their choices reshape the persistent war economy.
