Editorial overview
What it is
The Zanac battle, which was supposed to have ended, was not over. To suppress the reactivated organic intelligence, Zanac takes flight once again!
The premise
A vertically scrolling sci-fi shooter released for the MSX in 1986.
The player controls the AFX-6502 “Zanac” and battles an organic intelligence.
The objective is to destroy the enemies in each stage using the main shot and special weapons.
By collecting the numbered capsules that appear during battle, the player can switch between different special shots; collecting the same type of capsule consecutively increases the power of that special shot.
In this title, how you fight affects the enemies’ aggressiveness, making them tougher—or, conversely, weaker.
This application does not include a “Scene Select” mode.
The main game and the Gallery are based on the Japanese version.
