Empires of the Undergrowth: Exploding Ants is a downloadable expansion for Empires of the Undergrowth that introduces explosive ant and termite species inspired by real insects, adding new tactical units capable of self-sacrifice attacks and defensive abilities. The DLC also includes new upgrades, combat mechanics, and additional levels centered on colony warfare and survival.
