What it is
"I left behind that horrible house. I need to get to the car as soon as possible. I hope that everything's okay and that we'll be able to walk to Forgotten Hill."
Forgotten Hill: Puppeteer is the second game in the Forgotten Hill series. It features Jimmy Larson as the player/character, and introduces Nathan McMillan - The Puppeteer - as the game's primary antagonist and Theodore Ostergard - the Gambler - as a secondary antagonist. It also features members of the Petersen Family and Josephine Taylor, Jimmy's Fiancee.
The premise
Having just escaped the strange house in the hill, Jimmy Larson returns to his car, only to find Josephine Taylor missing. The only clues as to her whereabouts are a trail of blood leading down the road and a ticket to the Puppet Theater. Resolving to rescue her, Jimmy sets out on foot to the Theater.
Upon entering, the usher taking his ticket - who shockingly appears to be a living puppet - mentions something about a "new performer" debuting tonight. Exploring the Theater, he encounters a morbidly obese man in the waiting area who has also been transformed into a living puppet. Jimmy enters the Theater itself, only to be blocked by a man in a cat-like mask and top hat who seems obsessed with gambling, and will not let Jimmy pass unless he can win a game of cards.
