What it is
Fritz 6 is a chess simulation which can be adjusted for beginners, advanced players and professionals. In comparison to Fritz 5 its graphics were revised and the menu got improved.
For beginners the game features several help functions, e.g. it explains all possible moves. When making a mistake the virtual coach comes up and helps. For advanced players there are many settings for the AI opponent to get the ideal training partner. The key parts of the programme are the extensive analysis functions. The database consists of 320.000 professional games and has an ELO rating of 2825.
