The premise
At the behest of the current King, Rezenhart, Proxemo has ordered his men to raid nearby settlements and capture people who will then be slaughtered by local gladiators in the arena. One of these is Romulus, the sole survivor of the slaughtered village of Maranda, whose main goal has become revenge against the king. Luckily he comes across an ally at the beginning of his journey...
