In the confusion state, Coco, a mysterious dog appears to help and guide Iko to start the adventure in this place called Kuruto. Without knowing what will come at the end, Iko reassures to continue and unravel the mysteries ahead.

Iko and Coco's journey will be full of choices. Choosing one will bring consequences and leave the unknown behind. Iko should always follow what the heart says, and Coco will always be there by the side. With Magic Hourglass and Magic Toolbox has given, Iko will meet and befriend various denizens in the afterlife. Listening to their unique story, and helping them deal with problems, will give Iko a meaningful purpose as the glimpse of past memory reappears.
