What it is
Trials of the Luremaster is a free expansion released by Black Isle Studios for Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter. It was a response to the criticism that Heart of Winter was too short, and introduced a number of new areas and enemies.
The premise
After meeting the halfling Hobart Stubbetoes, the player is transported to a new area called the Anauroch desert in a ruined castle. The player with his band of followers must defeat the Luremaster and overcome his many traps and monsters.
