The premise
The story is set in 1839 - 50 years after the events of the first part. Speedwagon, now CEO of a world-famous foundation, has located an ancient temple in Mexico that contains more stone mask and what looks like a carving of a man in a pillar. Meanwhile, the grandson of Jonathan Joestar, Joseph Joestar, discovers he can also use Hamon, just like his late grandfather. But he doesn't know that because of the discovery in Mexico the whole world is in danger and that it's up to him to save it and discover more about the past.
