A planet shattered into nine. The ocean is hanging in the sky. Nine kingdoms, separated on floating planetoids that once formed part of a diverse whole. The people of Numen are even more divided by their opposing views on what must be done to rescue the world before all is lost.

You play as the young woman Rin, daughter of a missing Syndicate scientist, and raised as a Syndicate crop researcher. Rin hides a secret power that seems to have origins in the banned tomes of the Sovereign side’s lost mystic ways. Fuelled by a belief that her father is still alive, Rin sets out for answers – not knowing the fate of the world rests in her hands. The closer she gets to the truth, the more she realizes that her abilities may have the power to heal the broken world...but only if she can release the fears that bind her.
