Inside Taimanin Gogo!
What it is
"Taimanin GOGO!" is a small mobile game in the Taimanin series and a top-down perspective rogue-like shoot-'Em-Up featuring chibi style characters. The game, came out after some delay June 16, 2023, and ended service January 26, 2024.
It featured Gacha elements and heavy use of ads.
The game’s protagonist is Shinobu and the tone is fully comedic and is available for all ages.
The premise
The game’s protagonist is Oma Shinobu, was a normal human girl and otaku. On her way home from job searching, she dodged a truck just to crash into a stop sign and die. Reborn into the Taimanin world, she crashed into Igawa Asagi. Now with Taimanin powers, she is somewhat forced to join Gosha Academy.
However, as a player of the old games, she strongly proclaims she does not want to become a Taimanin. Scared of any 3000 sensitivity enhancement. Shinobu befriends a number of other misfit Taimanin and exchange students, Tanaka Ine, Hosokawa Tamako, Li Wutao and Esmeralda. Unlike the normal Taimanin Universe, in this continuity, demons tribes and humans governments have started a friendly partnership. Nomad has been dissolved by Edwin Black, which now also acts as a homeroom teacher.
Though, Shinobu seem to have some "meta" noticing abilities and is smarter than the others, she notices nobody in the GOGO Universe has common sense, and even knowledge of the games does not help if everyone from the games is insane or has been turned cartoonish with all their traits being exaggerated.
