What it is
The Smoke Room is a horror/romance visual novel set in a small desert town in the year 1915. It is a standalone prequel to Echo.
The premise
An attempt by Samuel to leave the desert town of Echo behind him once and for all ends in failure - and in the process, he loses his savings and commits a terrible crime. He must do what he can to prevent the town from pinning the crime upon him in this prequel to Echo set in the 1910s.
