Editorial overview
What it is
Dive. Die. Leave a legacy. Autodelve is a roguelike you don't play — you preside over it. Challengers descend, fight, and eventually fall on their own. What you command isn't a sword swing but a legacy that compounds across generations: send a challenger in, and let their death carry the next one deeper — for 50, 100 hours.
■ Watch, plan, grow Exploration, combat, and leveling are fully automatic. Your job is to set the strategy, spend the resources, and watch the numbers climb. Busy? Leave it running — your challengers keep delving on their own.
■ Five stacking layers of growth Every death carries back Essence and Legacy Points to invest across five systems: Permanent Upgrades, Legacy Upgrades, Camp facilities, Alchemy, and Research. Prestige isn't a loss — it's acceleration. The systems unlock gradually, so it starts simple and unfolds over dozens of hours; they feed one another, and your Depth and clear speed never stop rising.
■ Up to six in parallel × a real party system Grow your Camp to field more challengers, and up to six dungeons run on screen at once. Each challenger can bring Companions — independent combat units: Warrior, Archer, Scout, Guardian. Your loadout changes how the fight plays out.
■ Alchemy and the Research Lab Collect reagents that differ by depth band and brew them into permanent buffs; filling the collection is one more reason to dive deeper. In the Research Lab, a real-time research tree is always advancing — research and offline income keep moving even while the game is closed.
■ Look back through the numbers The Stats tab lays out lifetime record cards and line/bar graphs. Watching your own growth curve is a treat for anyone who loves the numbers.
■ To the bottom of the Abyss — and beyond Rack up Depth, strike down the Lord of the Abyss, and reach the True Ending. But the dark runs deeper still: a boss that returns every 50 Depth, looping biomes, and restriction Challenges that rank you by how deep you get. Endless by design.
■ Built for a second monitor Full offline progress — your Camp and Research keep working while it's closed. 20 achievements, 7 languages, and a minimalist look built entirely from geometric shapes. A game to keep growing beside your work or your videos.
